Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using the https://irishtoursforyou.com website (the “Service”) operated by Irish Tours For You (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
Please note that Irish Tours For You Limited’s terms and conditions are subject to and governed by Irish Law. It is the responsibility of each client of Irish Tours For You to read the terms and conditions of your booking. Your booking is bound by these terms.
Irish Tours For You is an incoming tour operator, which means we are a ‘land only’ service. Irish Tours For You is not responsible for passenger travel into or out of Ireland. We cannot be responsible for any delays, cancellations, or other hindrances to passage to Ireland.
Your Travel Booking:
Whether you book alone or as a group, we will only deal with the lead booking name in all subsequent correspondence, including changes, amendments, and cancellations. You must be 18 years old at the time of booking and possess the legal capacity and authority to book as the lead name and travel on vacation with us. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the personal details or any other information supplied in respect of yourself and any other person traveling on the booking and for passing on any information regarding the booking or any changes made in relation thereto, to all persons traveling on such booking, including but not limited to information on schedule changes or copies of booking confirmations.
When you (or a party making the booking on your behalf, such as a Travel Agent) ask for your booking to be confirmed, we will confirm the booking and set aside your chosen accommodation (or similar when your chosen accommodation is not available). Next, we will send you or your travel agent a confirmation. We may not be able to confirm some of our ground arrangements straight away. If there is any change to any of the details discussed at the time of booking, we will notify you promptly of any new or changed details, including a change to the total price (if any). If any detail on the confirmation invoice is not correct, tell us or your travel agent immediately. If there is an obvious error on the confirmation invoice, we reserve the right to correct it as soon as we become aware of it.
Insurance
It is a condition of your booking with us that you and all other members of your party, including infants and children, are adequately insured on vacation. Any person who is under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult on his/her journey. There may be other restrictions and conditions on some offers.
Irish Tours For You is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or loss a guest incurs arising from acts or omissions by any hotel or other organization. Irish Tours For You accepts no responsibility for cancellations of or interruptions to a tour due to delay or changes in schedules, flight cancellations, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine, mechanical breakdowns, the actions of any government, weather, acts of God (including COVID 19 and any subsequent variants that arise) or circumstances beyond its control or for expenses or losses incurred as a result of any such circumstances. To guard against such unforeseen circumstances, you should have a travel insurance plan before you travel on your vacation – we strongly recommend that you purchase insurance as soon as your booking is confirmed with us.
Price:
All prices we advertise are accurate at the date published, but we reserve the right to change any of those prices from time to time.
If we cancel your booking in circumstances such as, for example, there are not enough people booked on your vacation or you do not pay the balance of the vacation price on time, we may cancel it. We reserve the right to cancel your vacation in any circumstances, but if we cancel your vacation, except where this is because you have not paid, you can either have a refund or accept a replacement vacation from us of equivalent or similar standard and price, if we are able to offer you one.
If we change your booking details – We hope that we will not have to make any changes to your vacation, but because our vacations are planned many months in advance, we sometimes do need to make changes. We reserve the right to do this at any time. We will let you or your travel agent know about any important changes when you book. If you have already booked, we will let you know as soon as we can, if there is time before your departure.
Final Payments:
A 2% card processing fee will be applied to all final payments. This fee is levied by our banking institution and will be incurred when making payments via credit or debit card.
Escorted Drivers:
Irish Tours For You will provide those visitors choosing a Private Chauffeured Tour with a personal driver/guide. The driver will also act as the guide for the duration of the tour. Where numbers dictate, Irish Tours For You will designate a driver and an additional guide. The driver will act as a guide throughout the passage of your vacation. At designated attractions around your vacation, the driver will pass over to the guide at the designated attractions. It should be noted that some attractions are self-guided, and each visitor will be expected to self-guide within the attractions as required. The driver/guide will not normally enter the attraction but will wait outside for the visitors to return to the vehicle. The drivers are allocated to the visitors for eight hours of driving per day (an additional hour will be designated within the day for lunch). For the purposes of health and safety, the drivers, unless in exceptional circumstances, cannot undertake driving beyond these hours. Driving is defined as a period from the commencement of the tour to the conclusion of the tour for that day, and not timed on a basis of continuous driving for eight hours. Irish Tours For You considers the safety of its visitors and staff of paramount importance. The drivers will at all times obey the rules of the road. Each escorted tour will commence between 9am and 10am each day and run for 9 hours from start. In some circumstances, the tour can start at an earlier or later time, but the reasons for the change should be brought to the attention of a member of Irish Tours For You as soon as possible.
Self-Drive Packages:
Your package includes the following: accommodation each night, breakfast each morning, having stayed at the accommodation overnight, car rental (car model is not guaranteed) with compulsory insurance, unlimited mileage & breakdown cover, and a personal itinerary.
Car rental companies require the main driver to supply a credit card in his/her name in order to pick up the car. A credit card is required for the excess/deductible.
Drivers must hold a current driving license, having been valid for at least 2 years. You must be between 25 – 75 years old. (Minivans and some other vehicles require the driver to be 30 years old or older.) Younger and older drivers can be accommodated at an extra charge. Please contact us for details. Location service charge is excluded. If you require additional drivers, fees will apply and are payable directly to the rental desk on arrival.
GPS units are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. There is general availability, but in the event, the car hire firm cannot provide and payment has been received, the client will receive a full refund for the GPS unit.
Escorted Packages:
These packages include accommodation each night, breakfast each morning, having stayed at the accommodation overnight, Personal guide/driver, luxury vehicle at your disposal throughout your visit, tolls and road fees included, entry to attractions included (all attractions listed in your itinerary are included except those listed under ‘at leisure’), guided sightseeing each day, and advice with dining locations.
Paying For Your Travel Arrangements:
You will be required to pay a deposit to us for each person when you book, unless you are booking within 60 days of departure, in which case the full amount of the booking is payable at the time of booking. The deposit amount will be specified by us or your travel agent when your booking is made. If it is not specified, then it will be the amount we ask you to pay at the time of booking, even if this is 100% of the vacation price.
The final balance must be paid no later than 4 weeks (28 days) prior to your arrival in Ireland. If the balance is not received by this time, we reserve the right to consider your booking canceled and apply cancellation charges of up to 100% of the total amount due.
Please note that processing fees apply to all bookings and are calculated based on the full value of the tour, regardless of whether the tour proceeds or is canceled.
If you pay money for your booking to a travel agent appointed by us, they will hold that money as our agent from the time they receive it until the funds are passed along to us. In cases where there is a large final payment due, we may request payment by bank transfer.
If your payment is made by credit card, a fee will apply — please check the applicable fee at the time of booking. We do not accept personal cheques.
Cancellation Charges Based on Notice Period
Cancellation charges are calculated based on the number of calendar days prior to your scheduled arrival date that we receive written notice of cancellation. If you cancel your booking 6 weeks before arrival, no cancellation fee will apply. However, the booking deposit remains non-refundable. In such cases, the value of the deposit may be transferred to another eligible traveller or postponed to a future date, with no expiry, subject to availability and any pricing changes.
If you cancel your booking between 6 – 4 weeks before arrival (i.e. 42 to 29 days prior), a cancellation fee of 20% of the total booking price will apply. If you cancel within 4 weeks of arrival (i.e. 28 days or less), or in the case of a no-show, the booking is 100% non-refundable, and no refund will be issued.

Partial Cancellations (Individual Travellers Cancelling)
If one or more people on a group booking cancel their participation in the trip while others continue, cancellation charges will apply only to the travellers who cancel. These charges are calculated based on the same notice period framework outlined above. The portion of the trip associated with the cancelling participant(s) may be transferred to another person or postponed to a future date.
In cases where a partial cancellation results in fewer travellers sharing services or accommodation, previously shared now serving fewer people, the price of the remaining travellers’ portion of the booking may be adjusted accordingly. We will communicate any cost changes to the lead traveller before finalising them.
If your group originally qualified for group rates, such as discounts for six or more travellers, these rates may be subject to change based on the revised group size. New pricing will be applied to the remaining participants if the original pricing terms are no longer valid.
Booking Transfers to Another Person
If you are unable to travel, you may transfer your booking to another individual. To do this, you must submit a written request at least 6-4 weeks to the scheduled arrival date. The new traveller must meet all eligibility requirements and agree to the original booking’s terms and conditions. They must also provide their own travel insurance, as insurance policies cannot be transferred.
Any fees imposed by third-party suppliers for name changes or rebooking, will be passed on at cost and must be paid before the transfer can be finalised. Irish Tours For You does not charge any administrative fee for processing a transfer request.
Postponements
If you need to delay your trip, we offer the option to postpone your booking. The full value of your original booking will be retained as credit, which can be applied toward a future trip with Irish Tours For You. There is no deadline for using this credit; you may rebook at any time, subject to availability and any applicable rate changes.
If your postponed booking includes components with fixed dates, such as event tickets, exclusive tours, or seasonal pricing, we may not be able to carry these over to the new dates. In such cases, we will inform you in advance and offer suitable alternatives or deduct the cost of non-transferable services from your travel credit.
A booking that has been postponed can later be transferred to another person, provided all standard transfer conditions are met.
Limits on Transfers and Postponements
While we aim to provide as much flexibility as possible, we reserve the right to limit the number of times a booking may be postponed or transferred. This ensures fairness to other clients and avoids indefinite rescheduling that can affect supplier relationships and operational planning. Requests for repeated changes will be reviewed individually, and we will do our best to accommodate when reasonable.
Supplier Policies
Many components of your itinerary—including hotels, tours, transportation, and some activities—are arranged through trusted third-party suppliers. These suppliers often have their own booking and cancellation policies, which may differ from those of Irish Tours For You. In certain cases, their terms may be more restrictive than ours, and we are obligated to follow them.
Where a supplier’s cancellation or amendment policy overrides our standard terms, we will communicate this clearly and in writing. Any associated fees or restrictions—such as non-refundable hotel nights, limited amendment windows, or name-change fees—will be passed on to you at the cost charged by the supplier.
How to Cancel a Booking
To cancel a full or partial booking, you must submit written notice to your Irish Tours For You travel specialist via email. Your cancellation must include the names of all travellers cancelling and a clear indication of whether you are requesting a transfer, or postponement.
Travel Insurance Requirement
Irish Tours For You strongly recommends that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Your policy should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, travel delays, force majeure events, and any non-refundable costs due to illness, government advisories, or supplier default.
We do not sell or manage travel insurance policies and cannot be held responsible for losses resulting from a client’s decision not to obtain appropriate cover. It is the responsibility of each traveller to ensure their insurance policy is valid and provides the necessary protection for the entire duration of the trip.
Standard Amendment Terms
Amendments may be requested up to four (6) weeks prior to your scheduled departure date. Changes requested less than 4 weeks prior to travel are not guaranteed. Approval of late amendments is subject to availability and may be limited by supplier terms or operational feasibility.
Any request to amend a booking is subject to availability at the time the change is made, and new pricing may apply. For example, if you change your hotel, travel dates, or activities, the updated service may be priced differently than what was originally booked.
Some services included in your booking, such as accommodation, car rental, chauffeured services, attraction tickets, event reservations, ferry tickets, or other time-sensitive experiences, may be classified as non-refundable or non-changeable by the supplier. In such cases, those services will not be eligible for amendment or refund, and the associated cost will remain part of your booking. These fees will be your responsibility and must be paid before the amended service is confirmed.
Amendments Within 4 Weeks of Travel
Amendments requested fewer than four (4) weeks, or twenty-eight (28) days, prior to your scheduled departure date are considered late changes and are only possible in exceptional circumstances. While we will always do our best to assist, changes requested within this time frame are not guaranteed and may not be possible due to operational constraints and supplier restrictions.
In most cases, late amendments are not permitted unless they are required due to extraordinary circumstances that fall under the definition of force majeure. This may include severe illness or other events beyond the traveller’s control that make it impossible to proceed with the original arrangements. Flight cancellations or significant changes by the airline may also be considered, depending on the situation and supporting documentation provided.
If you are requesting a change due to a COVID-19-related issue, please refer to our COVID-19 Policy section for specific guidance
Even in exceptional circumstances, any changes made within 28 days are subject to availability and may involve additional costs imposed by third-party suppliers. Third-party supplier terms—such as those from hotels, activity providers, or transport services—will take precedence over our own policies, and we are bound to honour their conditions.
Where changes are permitted, all applicable supplier fees will be passed on to you at cost, and no additional administrative fees will be charged by Irish Tours For You. However, where services are fully non-changeable or non-refundable, the value of those components will be forfeited.
We strongly recommend reviewing your travel insurance policy to ensure that it includes coverage for trip interruption, force majeure events, and COVID-19 related disruptions, as these will provide the greatest protection against last-minute travel complications.
Substantial Booking Changes
If the amendment involves a significant change to your booking—such as a change in departure date, removal of major services, or a reduction in the total cost of your package—it may be treated as a cancellation and new booking. In these cases, our standard cancellation terms will apply. This includes, but is not limited to, removing a core element of the trip that affects its classification as a package tour (such as omitting accommodation or transportation from a previously inclusive booking).
Where cancellation terms apply, we will notify you in writing and confirm any charges before proceeding with the change.
Changes to Group Size and Pricing
If your group size changes—whether due to the addition or cancellation of a traveller—your itinerary pricing may be recalculated. For example, accommodation rates are often based on double occupancy or minimum group thresholds. If the number of travellers sharing accommodation or transport is reduced, the per-person cost may increase.
In cases where the adjusted pricing exceeds the original amount paid, the balance must be paid before the amendment is confirmed. These pricing adjustments are not considered cancellation penalties and are generally not covered by travel insurance.
