The Wild Atlantic Way – Enchanting villages are nestled along the coast as well as ancient monuments. This is one of the longest defined coastal routes in the world. It winds its way all along the Irish west coast from the Inishowen Peninsula in the north right down to the picturesque town of Kinsale, County Cork, in the south. From start to finish, the power of the ocean, wonders of nature and stunning countryside are displayed in all their glory! Untamed tides and storms have molded our stunning West Coast, deeply indenting the wild terrain – leaving behind towering cliffs and beautiful bays and beaches! This itinerary includes the 15 wonders and signature points of the Wild Atlantic Way – as with all of our tours, the duration of the tour can be amended to suit the number of days you wish to dedicate to your vacation!

A suburb of bustling Dublin, County Meath has managed to maintain its integrity as part of the Irish Countryside for the most part! Visit Bru na Boinne, one of the most extraordinary sites in the World, home to the awe inspiring Newgrange. The Boyne Valley, Birthplace of Ireland’s Ancient East, is a place steeped in history. Combined with its lush green landscape and magnificent waterways, it is one of the most interesting areas in Ireland to visit!

The second largest county in Ireland and crossed with a chain of low mountains and dreamy landscapes, Donegal just penetrates your soul! Peer out over Malin Head or Fanad Head. The wilderness and green pastures of County Mayo will make you feel like anything could happen, like you have travelled back in time to ancient Ireland. The authentic charm of this County with its stone walls, sheep laden mountains and green fields as far as the eye can see will overwhelm you! Marvel at the gigantic sea-stack Dún Briste i, visit Downpatrick Head, named after Ireland’s patron saint St. Patrick! Feel adventurous!? Visit Killary Harbour, take in the stunning sights of Derrigimlagh. Situated in the mid-west region of Ireland – Clare is one of the most welcoming counties in Ireland. Clare is the epitome of ‘authentic Ireland’. It is another area of Ireland which has remained untouched by modernization. The Cliffs of Moher is without doubt, the most famous tourist attraction on the west coast of Ireland. In the midst of exploring Clare, be sure to enjoy a bite to eat in one of the local eateries – all of which make the most of the local produce they have at hand. Clare is also one of the best locations in Ireland for Traditional Irish Music!

Highlights:
Kerry is synonymous with breath-taking beauty, steeped in Irish Tradition and bustling with activity. The westernmost part of the Dingle Peninsula is undeniably one of the most beautiful and striking areas of Ireland. Visit Carrignaparka Beach, Dunmore Head or a 25 minute walk from the car-park at Foilhommerum Bay will take you to Bray Head. There is no shortage of Irish music entertainment in this small village but Killarney naturally promotes the Irish tradition also!

Highlights:
On to Cork! Visit Dursey island and Mizen Head where rugged cliffs arise from the roaring Atlantic! A staff favorite here at Irish Tours For You- the Old Head of Kinsale is a narrow headland that stretches about 4.5 km into the Celtic Sea. Flanked on either side by steep cliffs and a lighthouse is located on its southern tip. If you fancy some sensational gourmet seafood or food in general, Kinsale and Cobh are both worth fitting into your itinerary! Cork gets us, every. single. Time!

Highlights:
After your Wild Atlantic Travels, it’s time to make your way back up the East Coast for a final overnight stay in Dublin before you depart us for home. Along the way, why not keep in theme with the stunning landscapes and views you’ve been experiencing throughout your travels. Take in the Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough! If you are not too jaded from your day’s travel and activities, perhaps you would like to savour a pint of ‘the black stuff’ in one of the numerous bubbling pubs in the infamous Temple Bar!
