Tour Details

The days of Ireland being renowned for just bacon and cabbage are fading into the background! Ireland has an up and coming foodie scene which is set to rival the restaurants of the UK and US!

Some of its foodie hotspots include Dublin, Kenmare and Kinsale – but even outside of these towns and cities, Ireland is ripe with delicious experiences that will tickle your tastebuds! We’ve found some hidden gems to include in this itinerary – we’ve put an emphasis on smaller, family run, artisan businesses that may not get as much publicity as larger outfits but certainly deserve to!

Ireland’s farm to fork culture is thriving with more and more towns and villages sourcing their produce locally and making the most of what’s available to them on their doorsteps!

The Irish Foodie tour highlights exactly why Ireland is the perfect destination for food and drink enthusiasts!

Itinerary

Day 1 & 2 - Foodie Dublin

Dublin’s food and drink scene is on fire. Besides a dizzying array of dining and drinking options, the city serves many behind-the-scenes opportunities for foodies to meet the characters who keep the local scene buzzing – and pick up a new kitchen skill along the way.

When you’re finished dining your way through the City, we recommend the following attractions:

  • Guinness Storehouse

There’s a good reason that Cork is known as the food capital of Ireland: the range of produce is phenomenal – from excellent artisan cheese to beautifully crafted smoked fish. It’s packed with great places to eat, cool pubs and the vibrant English Market – a culinary rollercoaster through some of the county’s popular traditional dishes and fun new creations. So bring your appetite and get stuck in…

English Market Cork City

English Market has served the people of Cork in the face of famine, flood, war and multiple recessions.  During this unprecedented public health crisis, we want to remain open to serve you, our customers.

The English Market is, above all else, a food market for essential fresh produce.
